The place had different types of spa packages, and we ended up going for the most pampering package - a 1 night stay with 6 hours worth of various spa treatments inclusive of 2 choices of massages and it also provides lunch and breakfast for the next morning.
So as the name suggests - 'Tempat Senang' - which literally means 'Place of Ease/ Relaxation' in Malay and Bahasa Indonesia, the place lived up to its name and reputation on Tripadvisor.
The place is located in a quiet part of Batam so it's a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of a city life. Surrounded by greenery and a golf course, the natural landscape is calming and soothing - which is a good atmosphere to enjoy their reasonably priced spa packages. The resort itself is a villa styled in the Balinese decor; it has a very homey and cosy feel to the place. The staffs are helpful, attentive and accommodative to your every need. The rooms are cosy, luxurious and clean - but you will need to bring your own toiletries as they do not provide you with any, they may if you requested which I didn't so not sure if this is possible.
We stayed in the Indonesian Room, and the one favourite part of it will be the grand bed topped with plush pillows and blankets which were absolutely comfortable and I wished I could bring it home with me! The food was also good, my boyfriend enjoyed the tom yam soup so much he almost wanted to get a second serving!
Last but not least, the spa services were also very good. The massages were soothing and relaxing. Not only do they provide massages, they also have facials, body scrubs, milk baths, body wraps and hair spa. The packages are reasonably priced considering they will work on you for hours, you will probably need to pay ten times more if you got that kind of service in the city!
So all in all, it was a wonderful trip and I've recommended to to friends and it was well worth the money! We will definitely go back again!
